"I did it my way."

Thanks to all of you for a wonderful car buying experience. I've always felt like buying a new car should be as pleasant an experience as buying a new home, but I've never quite had that happen until now.

I went to your website last Thursday evening after having started at the Infiniti dealerships that were furthest drive from my home, and working my way in to the Charlotte metro area over a couple of days. Your website was extremely easy to navigate. I found the exact car I wanted in inventory, by stock number, in two different exterior colors that I couldn't decide between based on website color chips. I clicked on "Make An Offer" and I made an offer for the car by stock number. At a little after nine a.m. the next morning, I had received an email as well as a return phone call from Shane McCloskey, who was very personable, low key and non-confrontational in his approach with me. He told me that his manager had accepted my offer, and we made a Saturday afternoon appointment to drive the car. When we arrived at the dealership, we were cordially greeted and a fellow representative got Shane to greet us in the showroom. He took us outside to a staging area where both cars (alike but with different exterior colors) were waiting side by side. I picked the color I liked best, he did a quick presentation of the car for my husband and I, and we were off to a test drive. We came back to the store, and Shane did a more detailed presentation of other features and merits of the car. He asked me if I liked the car, asked me if I wanted to buy it, at which time my husband asked if he could leave us to ourselves for a few minutes to discuss it. He graciously respected and honored our request, and showed us where to find him once we had our discussion. We made our decision to purchase the car over a period of about three minutes, went back into the store, found Shane, and began to work through the necessary documents.

We had a neighbor babysitting our three year old daughter, but since their family had early evening commitments, and we had a 35 minute drive back home, we determined that there wasn't adequate time remaining for the car to be detailed for delivery that afternoon before we had to be back home. We were told that was not a problem, and Shane scheduled a delivery time to receive the car at our home on Monday morning. What service! We were impressed.

I did it my way. Lake Norman Infiniti gave me the best purchase price out of thirteen dealerships I shopped without the traditional games and back and forth salesman to manager protocol. We were able to drive one hour round trip, and buy a car within one hour on site at the dealership, with convenient delivery to our doorstep. Everyone else we met from the Internet Sales Manager to the F&I Manager to the detailer was as friendly, helpful, thorough, and sensitive to our individual purchase needs as Shane was. Things could not have gone any smoother, and I absolutely love my new G35 sedan. I would most certainly buy another vehicle from Lake Norman Infiniti, and I intend to send friends to Shane to purchase a vehicle.

We are not only impressed by the types of vehicles Infiniti makes, but also the customer service that is offered. We first came in towards the end of January to look at the FX35. That's when we met Larry "Link" Linker. He was one of the kindest gentlemen we've met. He wasn't there to pressure us into doing anything. Unlike other car salesmen, he was very honest with us and did not act like he was in a hurry to sell us a car. His knowledge of the vehicles Infiniti makes was very helpful. A few hours later, we drove off the lot with the FX35. The next day we received a call from Link asking us how we liked the car and if there were any problems. This really meant a lot to us. We then came in contact with your former Customer Relations Manager, Jocelyn Swanick. She went above and beyond her job description by coming in on a Saturday to answer any questions we had regarding the inside features of the vehicle. About two weeks later or so, I received another call from Link wondering how we were doing with the car. Again, this means a lot. At the beginning of March, we came in again to check out the G35, and once again, we were driving off the lot with our second Infiniti in less than two months. Overall, the customer service we have received has been outstanding! Barry Robinson was very helpful as well. He went out of his way to help us with any financial questions we had and was able to work with us. Although we won't be buying a third car at this moment, we will definitely be coming back at the end of our lease to sign a new one! Once again, thank you Infiniti and thank you Link. He's our #1 guy!  We will definitely be referring friends and family.
