Q70 Hybrid - Starting at $55,900

The already impressive Q70 has received a total hybrid makeover. To engineer this feat, INFINITI took the base model Q70 and added in several aspects. One such aspect is a 50 kW electric motor that combines with the gas-powered 3.5 liter, V-6 to produce a beastly 360 horsepower. This amount of power is unmatched by any other hybrid on the market. However, this doesn't hurt the fuel economy. Surprisingly, the Q70 still gets a striking 29 miles per gallon in the city and 34 miles per gallon on the highway.

On the outside, the Q70 hybrid simply doesn't look like a hybrid at all; it's a full-size sedan that has sleek curves, a chrome grille, solar glass, dual chrome exhaust, 18-inch chrome rims, and LED headlights, brake lights and tail lights. The little brother of the Q70, the Q50 Hybrid is simply a smaller version, including the same 3.5 liter, V-6 hybrid engine that couples with the same 50 kW electric motor that produces 360 horsepower. The vehicle takes INFINITI's Hybrid Performance Philosophy to new heights by using a mix of fuel, electricity, and technology to provide a performance-heavy, yet fuel-efficient car. You can also get the Q50 in an all-wheel drive version.

On top of its great hybrid features, the Q50 received many awards touting its excellence in engineering and safety. The first award the 2015 model received was the Ritvo Memorial Design and Elegance Award from the New England Motor Press Association. This award honors great design for all vehicles, not just a hybrid, making the award even more impressive.
