Infiniti is adding exciting new vehicles to its 2017 lineup, and the QX30 leads the pack in innovation. This new crossover was made to be powerful on the harshest urban streets with features and specs designed specifically for good handling and bold driving. With a look that sets it apart from the pack, the QX30 will be turning heads and taking names as soon as it hits the road.

The QX30’s Intriguing Look

With a lively low-slung profile, the QX30 is sleeker than most luxury crossovers. Infiniti used bold, aggressive lines to create this crossover. Instead of looking like a smaller SUV like many do, the QX30 looks intentional: it’s small but powerful and can take on your toughest urban environment. The car’s shoulder lines grace the sides of the body in such a unique way, Infiniti had to adjust its 3D manufacturing to craft this vehicle.

What’s Under the Hood

The engine is a turbocharged 2.0-liter model with 208 horsepower, 258 lb-ft of torque, and a seven-speed dual clutch transmission, which is capable of pre-selecting gears before you ever actually shift. Those old shift delays will be a distant memory as soon as you start the QX30 up. Intelligent all-wheel-drive changes how much power goes to the rear wheels for increased traction. Plus, they’ve broadened the rpms at which the car can reach maximum torque to give you more acceleration power.

A Sharp and Stylish Interior

The interior uses asymmetry and gentle arc shapes to emphasize the luxury of this vehicle. The design looks like gentle waves, taking its cues from Japanese styling, and is an obvious way Infiniti is setting itself apart from other luxury vehicles. It doesn’t just look beautiful; it feels beautiful. Napa leather graces the seats and the dashboard, with a Dinamica complement on the front pillars and headliner. (If you don’t know what Dinamica is, it’s a faux-suede originally used in fashion.) The best part is the four color schemes you can choose for the interior. From Gallery White to Black Leather, pick the color palette that speaks to your sense of luxury.

The Technology You Care About

Infiniti InTouch connects your entire world to the interior of your car. It offers you two USB ports for charging phone charging and connection or for old-school USB music sticks. If your smartphone has Bluetooth, no need to plug it in. InTouch will connect with your phone wirelessly, and then integrate your phone into your cockpit. You can read texts, call friends, or listen to your phone’s best playlists. The technology is hands-free, giving you the power to use the entire InTouch system without anything more than your voice.

Watch Lake Norman Infiniti’s showroom during the second quarter to see the new QX30. If you’re already a fan of the luxury crossover, the QX30 will be a delightful new vehicle for you to explore. If you’re not, take a test drive or simply sit in the driver’s seat for a few minutes, and see if the stunning design doesn’t win you over.
